Summary:
The EVS project titled "Creativity without borders "is aimed to make life of disabled children and young invalids as colourful as a rainbow.
Pupils of the Center need friends who could help them overcome physical pathologies and understand that there are not obstacles for creativity. With only strong wish make unbelievable discoveries!
Donetsk public organization for handicapped children, young invalids and their families «Raduga" works 10 years and helped 268 families which have handicapped children and youth.
The team of the Center is looking for volunteers who could helps children suffering from various physical pathologies to find self-fulfilling through creative work , teach how to learn and communicate with the world.
Tasks:
Volunteers will work in the rehabilitation center "Raduga (Rainbow)" in the following directions – organisation different workshops and art classes;
Painting
Embroidery
Beads jewelry
Dough, clay, plasticine modeling
Clothes design
Fashion show
Festivals
Sport games
As well as communication with children, reading books, playing games.
Specific tasks:
Volunteers will work in the rehabilitation center "Raduga (Rainbow)" in the following directions – organisation different workshops and art classes;
Painting,Embroidery,Beads jewelry,Dough modelling, clay, plasticine modeling,Clothes design,Fashion show,Festivals, Sport games, as well as communication with children, reading books, playing games.
Selection:
2 young people 18-29 years old.
Speak some Russian or Ukrainian.
Interested in youth programs in general, and in the problems of social discrimination and social exclusion of disabled people particularly.
Interested in taking part with other young people in activities to promote European awareness.
